Identification Tips:
(Iron) pyrite samples can be
very beautiful (top pictures) but inexpensive classroom samples will most
likely look more like the photos on the bottom. All samples are dense (will be
heavy for their size).
The key to identifying pyrite: Samples appear gold or yellow but
streak black.
