Clastic* sedimentary rocks form from sediments. Sediments are particles formed by the weathering of rocks......any kind of rocks including igneous, metamorphic, or other sedimentary rocks. Those other rocks could have been made of any mineral or any combination of minerals so...........clastic sedimentary rocks could be made of just about anything.
